1. Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer and have purchased goods from our online store, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.

The 14-day period starts from the day you (or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier) receive the goods.

If several items from the same order are delivered separately, the period starts from the day you receive the last item.

2. How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal

To withdraw from the contract, you must inform us of your decision in a clear written statement before the 14-day period expires. You may:

• Send an email to sales@steffanyjewels.lv
• Use the model withdrawal form available on our website or provided upon request.

After notifying us, you must return the goods to us no later than 14 days from the day you informed us of your decision to withdraw.

3. Condition of Returned Goods

You may examine the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning (as you would be able to do in a physical store).

You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Jewellery must be returned:

• Unworn
• In original condition
• With all original packaging, certificates, tags and seals intact

4. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 255 “Noteikumi par distances līgumu”, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Goods made according to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised (for example, items with custom engraving or unique personalisation made to order);
• Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if unsealed after delivery;
• Other cases provided for by applicable consumer protection legislation.

Sale or discounted items are not excluded from the right of withdrawal (unless they fall under one of the exceptions listed above).

5. Refunds

Once we have received the returned goods (or you have provided proof that the goods have been sent back), we will inspect them and inform you of the outcome.

If the return is approved, we will refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery costs (if any), using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

The refund will be processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or evidence that you have sent them back.

Please note that payment providers and banks may require additional processing time before the refunded amount appears in your account.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we have agreed otherwise or the goods are defective or non-conforming.

6. Defective or Non-Conforming Goods

This policy does not affect your statutory rights regarding defective or non-conforming goods under the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia, including the legal guarantee of conformity.
